And thus starts my love affair with leeks...

Joyeuses Pâques!

Easter Dinner Menu
  • Nathan's Famous Chicken--
Two roasted chickens covered in herbs and stuffed with lemons, garlic and onions
  • Potato, Leek, and Bacon Gratin--
Sliced potatoes & "sweated" leeks boiled in chicken broth, then layered in a casserole dish topped with Gruyeres cheese and bacon
  • Goat Cheese and Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus--
A dollop of ripened goat cheese placed on a slice of prosciutto, then wrapped around a thick asparagus stalk. Broiled in the oven for ten minutes (or until the goat cheese begins to melt and prosciutto crisps) then placed on a platter with thickened balsamic vinegar.
  • Arugula and Spinach Salad--
Served with seasonal veggies and balsamic dressing

  • A Bottle of French Wine
